How to get influencers to share your content
Collaborative content marketing is one way of getting traction with minimal effort.
Some of the influencers who contributed to my articles →
Larry Kim
Alan See
Rand Fishkin
Joe Pulizzi
The result?
→ Influencers (many of them) with thousands (50k+) of followers and subscribers have shared my content with their audience.
→ And, a few of them gave a link back to my article.
→ Plus, I was able to build a relationship with unicorns of the industry.
Here's what I did?
I asked for contributor quotes for my articles.
Still, I rarely see brands/individuals implementing this.
3 Steps to get started:
→ STEP 1. Find influencers (relevant to your industry, have medium to large followings, accessible)
→ STEP 2. Outreach with the right message. Watch their webinars, read their books.
Your message should be relevant to only one person at a time.
→ STEP 3. It's time to sharing your article. Make sure you have high-quality content, customized graphics.
And, you have proudly showcased the contributors in your article.
Rule: Don't ask for backlinks.
Instead, ask for feedback, appreciate their time and effort.
That's all you need to do.
