🎯 Actionable Insights
💡 1. Drive Brand Awareness and traffic Using Quora
You need to rethink if you consider Quora only as an audience research tool.
Since Quora is a question-answer platform, it can be used to answer questions from the TOFU to BOFU stages.
In fact, Quora gets around 637 million visits every month 😲 from countries like the US, Ind, UK, Canada, etc.
Here’s how you can use Quora for brand awareness and traffic:
Step 1. Find the right questions
First, don't make the mistake of answering random questions on Quora, thinking this will help brand awareness.
You want to target questions that are consistently getting organic traffic (ranking in the top 10 is a bonus).
So, use any SEO tool (say Ahrefs) and get the list of organic keywords that Quora rank for.
If you're using Ahrefs, use the following filters:
Traffic > 50 per month
Add seed keywords
Now, export the entire list of Quora pages along with search metrics (target keyword, KD, volume, etc.)
This way, you’ll get a list of Quora pages that are:
Getting at least 50 organic visits per month
Related to your business
Step 2. Prioritize the questions
Your entire data will look like this:
There are various ways you can use this data:
Write answers to questions that are getting the most amount of organic traffic
Sort the questions by CPC. Usually, higher CPC means higher business value.
Find TOFU content ideas for the blog
Find low competitive keywords by checking metrics like KD and Quora page position.
Note: ensure you match the search intent before creating a new page to rank for the keyword.
Step 3. Add credibility, experience, and CTA to your answers
Don't make your Quora answers look like a promotional article. Instead, go for a more casual and friendly tone.
Key elements of a quora answers:
Credibility (Your experience/ Expertise)
Add CTA to informational content or product pages (if it matches the intent of the question)
Add screenshots/ images (if it is useful)
Key lesson:
When targeting Quora, don’t just start answering questions randomly.
Instead, get a list of pages that are already getting minimum traffic and relevant to your business offerings.

💡 1. Fix your 'Contact Us' page
‘Contact Us’ page is the medium for your prospects to reach you, right?
So, are you measuring the performance of this super important page?
One of the common mistakes of many websites is using an email link, not a contact form.
Here’s what I mean:
Reasons why using a contact form is much better than having email links:
1. Trackable: You can easily track the performance of your contact form by setting up goals in Google Analytics. But that’s not the case with email links.
2. Ask specific questions: You can decide what questions or information to add to a contact form. More information helps you understand the requirements of your prospects clearly.
3. Promote additional content on the ‘thank-you’ page: When your prospects fill a form, they get redirected to the ‘thank you’ page.
And, this is where you can promote additional content such as newsletters, case studies, etc.

💬 Bite-sized Insights
💡 1. Place the testimonial near the CTA, not at the bottom of the page
Social proof builds trust and increases the likelihood of conversions, but placement is everything.
Position your reviews directly beneath your calls to action to get more signups.
Do this now:
First, collect reviews for the product/service you’re offering. Getting good reviews is not as hard as you might think.
Think of this: Has anyone ever said nice things about your product (say newsletter, blog, etc.) on Facebook, Twitter, or in DM?
Second, choose the most glowing reviews from your current subscribers or customers and place them near CTAs.
Consider adding the reviewer's image, name, and designation along with the testimonial message.
Result?
I hit around an 18% conversion rate for unique visitors for my content marketing newsletter that follows the same approach.
Give this a try and compare the results before and after placing testimonials.

💡 2. Quick tip to perform backlink analysis of competitors
One of the challenges of finding link opportunities from competitors' websites is ignoring all the low-quality, spammy links from the list.
These low-quality links don't add any value to the process and make the process complex.
Solution?
Adding filters in Ahrefs to get a clean list of backlinks.
Use the following filters in ahrefs to find relevant link opportunities and ignore most crappy links.
Here’s how:
Step 1: Go to Ahrefs and type your competitor’s domain URL
Step 2: set the following filters
Domain Rating > 10
Domain traffic > 100
Domain type: Do-follow/ no-follow
Step 3: Export the backlink list
This way, you can easily filter out all the low-quality backlinks and make the entire list clean and relevant.
Note: You can perform similar filters in other SEO tools like Semrush.
